Our bootcamp is a fun introduction to the craft of acting for the camera. We will cover the fundamentals and techniques that actors use for working in this intimate medium.
basic terminology used on sets
the differences between shots and how this impacts the actor
hitting your mark
what creates a compelling onscreen performance
working with a scene partner
working with a reader, as one does in an audition situation
film and T.V. scripts - how to approach them
commercial scripts - the various different kinds and how to approach them
This is a hands-on, on-your-feet workshop. We will film and then watch the footage together throughout the class.
FOR: ages 18 and older
PREREQUISITE: Intro to Acting with us or at another school OR significant acting performance experience.

(Students must attend each session of bootcamp. Lunch is not provided.)
