Hello All,
A few updates. We will no longer be offering in person classes in the Boston area as we have moved to California!
We have been enjoying teaching our online classes since the pandemic, however, we are currently on hiatus from teaching classes. We have found it difficult with our individual projects for the time being to find a time where at least one of us would be able to be available for the amount of time to offer classes.
This has made it difficult to schedule classes for the near future.

Intermediate Acting
Boston Acting Classes is now giving you a chance to take our Intermediate Acting class online!
PREREQUISITE: Intro to Acting with us, equivalent introductory training with another school or teacher, or previous experience.
In this 5 week class we will begin by focusing on character development by exploring the different elements of character: character history, movement, voice, and need.
Then, we will work on scripts - how to break down a scene, how to explore the relationship. Students will apply these elements as they work on scenes with partners. Additionally, we will touch on the audition process and the Boston theatre, film, and commercial scene.
*Students will be expected to work on scenes with a scene partner outside of class. You will need to memorize short scenes in order for us to best instruct you.
For: Ages 18 and Up.

Class is limited to 10 Students
COST: the fee for five classes is $225.
Our online classes are taught over the Zoom conferencing application. Students registering should have access to a reliable internet signal and have camera through their phone, laptop, computer, etc.

Taking a class online was a great experience. Art and Amanda keep things fun, exciting and you are always learning from them. I was surprised how great the format was for watching and practicing the techniques and skills.
