Auditions are a crucial part of an actor's life.  Many actors hate auditioning. Given that it is a necessary part of this career, why not enjoy the process?

 

We will talk about attitude, entrances and exits and preparing material.

 

Cold reads are very often used in audition situations. We will share some helpful tips and strategies and put them right into practice! After talking about the priorities of preparing for a cold read, we will work with a variety of scripts in a mock audition format. Students will be given direction and asked to make adjustments on the fly.
