Intro to Acting Bootcamp

AND JUST DO NOT HAVE THE TIME FOR A CLASS THAT MEETS FOR 5 WEEKS?
Intro to Acting Bootcamp is a fun, informative and hands-on immersion into the fundamentals of acting. Our two-day program will introduce you to the craft of acting, including:
Improvisation
Acting choices
Creating a believable character
Dialogue
Scene Work
Monologues
We will also address how to handle those pesky nerves.
Some students don't have the ability to commit to our weekly classes due to work or time conflicts. This weekend intensive will introduce you to the principles and techniques covered in our five week introduction to acting class.
Through fun improvisational exercises and games, this class teaches the foundations of the craft of acting: active listening, objectives, movement, spontaneity and connection. Each student will also work on a monologue and a scene. This class is great for the beginner who has little to no acting experience, or for those who wish to get back in shape by revisiting the fundamentals of acting.

(Students must attend each session of bootcamp. Lunch is not provided.)
FOR: ages 16 and older
COST: the fee for bootcamp is $225.
